Research and Development Projects
The research programme consists of strategic research projects and bilateral projects within the Kplus programme.
„Strategic Research“ mea ns the elaboration of methodical and application-oriented fundaments or additional scientific findings and the start-up of novel R&D work in the field of applied biocatalysis.„Bilateral projects“ are precompetitive research projects between the centre and its partner companies. One or more partner companies can collaborate in one project (single-firm or multi-firm projects).
The research programme consists of three areas
- Area 1: Biocatalytic synthesis,
- Area 2: Enzyme development and analytics,
- Area 3: Enzymatic conversion of carbohydrates
and is continually adapted to current requirements during the life of the centre.
